Anthony is originally from Sacramento, CA. He grew up participating avidly in athletics, ultimately focusing on football and rugby throughout college. He attended CSU Sacramento for undergrad, earning his BS in Biology before attending The University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) for his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree. This interest resulted in multiple research opportunities at University of Illinois Hospital and Health Science Systems focusing on the changes that occur within the nervous system with chronic pain and how manual therapy can help to reverse these changes. Following completion of his Physical Therapy degree, Anthony worked in an orthopedic setting utilizing an Applied Functional Science approach to the treatment of common injuries which examines the entire body and kinetic chain for contributions to his patient’s pain. In his free time, Anthony enjoys the outdoors and is excited to explore the California landscape after spending 4 years in Chicago.
